My Mother, the 3rd wife, is buried in Ennis, Texas.  Papa was assigned by a General to practie medicine at home during the Civil War.  He (Dr. Robt J.) was a Methodist & to me was one of the finest men I ever knew.  He seemed to love everyone & especially children, was very affectionate.  He was sick a year before he died & I don't remember ever hearing him complain.  Said he had too many things to be thankful for to complain.  (Signed)  His oldest daughter, Lela McCall Reed
