Our beloved mother, Mary Lillian Irvine Paschall, was given over to the Lord's care at the age of 85, on September 19, 2006 in San Antonio. A humble woman, and loyal Democrat, Mother was born on January 9, 1921 in Fort Worth. Her maternal grandparents, George P. Palmer and Mary Ann Hayden settled in Loire, Atascosa County in 1856 where she lived on the original homestead. She is preceded in death by her mother Lillian Robie (Palmer) Irvine and brother Jack Irvine. She is survived by five children, William E. Paschall, Jr. of Soper, Oklahoma, Lawrence Paschall of Grand Prairie, Robie Ann Crossno of Loire, Mary Paschall of Las Vegas, and Barbara Cochran of Pleasanton. She had 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Mother retired after 20 years from Collins Radio in Richardson. She was a talented seamstress who loved to sew for her grandchildren, making clothes and dolls. She was a world traveler having traveled to more than eight
countries on four continents, teaching conversational English. She enjoyed line-dancing and taking long drives in the country. Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton on Thursday, September 21, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral mass was held at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Loire on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment followed at St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery in Loire.
