Married Lewis Blake around 1861. After Martha's death around 1879, Lewis Blake
married Mary Shaver.
Lewis was the son of Charles Blake and grandson of George and Sarah Blake. In
1871, he bought property on the head of Loup Creek, cleared a farm, and built
his cabin in a tributary valley on the west side of Loup Creek still known as
the "Lewis Blake Hollow" long after the family departed. The children who
found homes elsewhere in the Loop were: James, Charles, Mrs. Dove, Mrs.
Burgess, Osey, Kenneth and Alice, wife of George Foster.
