    Elijah Stanbury lived in Washington County, Tennessee in 1819. In 1823 he was living in Jefferson County, Tennessee and remained there until 1840 when he moved to Grainger County, Tennessee, where Elijah lived until his death.
    Elijah served as Captain of a Company of Tennessee Militia during War of 1812. From: 'War Of 1812 Pensioners" pg1644.

    Notes:

    Ezekiel Stanborough was a tenant farmer. He resided in Frederick County, Virgina 1787-1791 and possibly may have also resided in Jefferson County, Virginia.
    Ezekiel is listed on the Greene County, Tennessee tax rolls for the following years: 1805 and 1812.
    Ezekiel Stanborough and Esther Neil Kremer were married by Rev. Christian Streit. Charles Graham is shown as giving bond for the marriage of Ezekiel Stanborough to Esther Neil Kremer.
    Ezekial is buried in Greene County, Tennessee.

    Ezekiel married Ester Neal KREMER on 19 Aug 1788 in Frederick County, Virginia. Ester and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
