!INFORMATION: Mrs. D. W. Young, who has lived the greater part of herlife in this community. observed her ninety third birthday onWednesday. Mrs. Young has made her home for the past several yearswith her daughter, Mrs. Anna Glover, at Overland Park. Mrs. Young wasborn August 23, 1851 in bourbon County, Kentucky, the daughter ofJames Edward and Louisa Mauzey. When she was three years old she camewith her parents to Weston, wehre they lived a short time, then movedto Jackson County. In 1873 she was married to John Clifford. Mr.Clifford died October 8, 1890 In November, 1916, she married D. W.Young, who died a number of years ago. Mrs. Young is the oldest memberof the Lee's Summit Christian Church. She united with the church in1888. Besides the daughter with whom she lives, Mrs. Young has anotherdaughter, Mrs. Rose White of Lee's Summit, and two sons, Ed Clifford,Blanca, Colorado, and John Clifford, of Alamosa, Colorado, fivegrandchildren. Rupert White and JEsse White of Lee's Summit aregrandsons.

Lived in Blue Springs in 1856.
