  1. 1.  Jeremiah OSBORN was born on 5 May 1652 (son of Jeremiah OSBORN and Mary DAVIS); died on 16 May 1652.

  1. 2.  Jeremiah OSBORN was born on 20 Mar 1625 in Ashford, County Kent, England (son of Thomas OSBORN and Mary GOATLY); died on 26 Apr 1676 in New Haven, Connecticutt.

    Notes:

    Jeremiah (Jeremy) Osborn, son of Thomas Osborne & Mary Goatly, came to America about 1637 with his apents and settled with them in New Haven, Connecticutt. He was on eof the original Elizabeth Town Associates, and took the Oath of Aleagance and Fidelity to the Proprietors on 19 February 1665. He was witness there to an Indian deed endorsement (HHE p.37). Shortly thereafter he must have returned to New Haven, probably to take over the family interests, for he was the Tanner of New Haven in 1666.

  1. 4.  Thomas OSBORN was born about 1594 in Ashford, County Kent, England; died after 26 Nov 1677.

    Notes:

    Thomas Osborne, son of Jeremy Osborne & Joan Wyborne (AG 43:253), died after 26 November 1677, when he signed a deed of gift to his youngest son Benjamin for certain property in East Hampton.
    Thomas Osborne lived in Ashford, County Kent, Kengland until 1636. About 1637 he emigrated to America with his family.
    He was an early settler in New Haven, and was the Colony tanner in 1643.
    He moved to East Hampton, 24 August 1675 (NYDH 2:441), but is omitted from the 1683 list (NYDH 2:539).

    Of his children, the first six were baptised at Christ Church in Ashford Parish, County Kent, England (AG 48:249), the last three in New Haven.
